On February 27, 2020, Centro Social de Soutelo presened the STEADY project at the Rio Tinto
Parish Social Commission. This committee is composed by the Rio Tinto Parish and by 30 local
institutions, intervening in the field of education and social intervention. The main objectives
of the STEADY project were presented, as well as its activities. Participants from different
organizations were made aware of the issue of social integration of young refugees, especially
young refugees with disabilities, through sports, emphasizing its importance in combating
racism and intolerance.
